Rural Drift is a mockumentary series that blends real life with fiction. If anything can go wrong, it does for two Aucklanders having a crack at country living.

When Orlando Stewart inherits a house from a late aunt, he and his friend Nathan Rea pack-up and ship-out to rural town Horeke to renovate it for Orlando and his family.

But tensions run high when Orlando continues to butt heads with some of the local people.

Can the city slickers renovate the house before the locals drive them back to Auckland?
